A family of ants lives a charmed life behind the baseboards in a kitchen where they enjoy a daily feast of crumbs and food scraps. One day a young ant risks his safety to go out to the kitchen floor, when he is suddenly swept up and thrown in the trash. The young ant winds up a world away from home and embarks on the journey of a lifetime to find his family.
