This week we spent time trying to figure out how far we can park from many road areas. Jason and I took a tape measure and went 15′ from a fire hydrant, 20′ from a crosswalk or intersection and 50′ from tunnels, bridge and railroad. We only found the railroad. His goal is to take the test May 10th and then we can practice driving. He also learned what a Median was on a road.
After he gets the license he will be trained on how to use a fork lift. Their is a reasonably priced program in the area. His girlfriend is pregnant and his Goodwill position, though stable, is not giving him enough salary to take care of his new family. We are making progress!
