We are so grateful and impressed with the generosity of our donors. In the last three days we have had donated two 52″ flatscreen TVs, a queen size bed with all the bedding, $600 towards computers, an entertainment center, large dresser, a Dell Computer and a cell phone. One family is also donating a majority of their household items as they downsize to a condo.

The Queen bed, entertainment center, and dresser is being delivered to a young couple who are having their first child next month. They have been sleeping on two old twin mattresses on the floor until now. They plan to use one of the twin mattresses in the new baby room to let the young foster man sleep better some nights while his girl watches their baby. He is working so hard every day to provide for his family on a minimum wage salary. We are continuing to work on his driving skills so that he can get training on the forklift to improve his income and support for his family.

With the school year starting the computers will come in handy for doing classwork at home and research for these young adults.
