Last week one of our young men was able to get a certification in driving a forklift. This certification last three years. It’s very interesting to see how many doors are opening for this young man. He is now applying to warehouses, construction companies, furniture stores, hospitality industries, and large corporations that manage items such as Amazon. Due to his low confidence we have put in place a tracking schedule that is looked at weekly to update applications, contacts, and following up on these job searches. At this time we are looking for volunteers to assist for a 1 – 4 hours a week to make this process highly successful.
